I have an internal cardiac defibrillator, I use the oils all the time, but mainly put them on my feet. I stay away from the pacemaker area and the wires, as it feels and sounds like plastic. So I avoid putting oils on that area just to be safe. Would not want the oils eating up the plastics. I have had no problems so far, I have been using doTerra for almost 2 years.
