[Everything doTERRA] Re: Runny nose

You could try lemon, in several ways, as a decongestant- lemon oil in water throughout the day, lemon oil in a capsule, and/ or rubbing lemon oil along the spine. Also, Melissa on either side of the nose (not too close to the eyes)  can help with sinus congestion. I had a scratchy throat a few days ago, and putting a drop of On Guard under my tongue at night and using On Guard throat drops during the day really helped. Rubbing On Guard, Breathe, and Thyme on my throat (diluted with FCO) was also soothing. I also got a humidifier to run at night, which has helped with the throat scratchiness. When I first started to feel sick, I used On Guard, Oregano, Melaleuca, and Frankincense internally and topically and never had a full-blown cold. When my sinuses started feeling congested, I added lemon. This was one of the only times in years that I didn't have a sinus infection after having a sore throat/ cold, which I think is because of using the oils.

So I've got this problem where I have a sore throat at night and first thing in the morning, my sinuses start getting a lot of pressure in the evening, and I have the most awful runny nose day and night, although it's mostly draining down my throat, ugh, so gross :(
It's been like this for at least 2 weeks already. The other stuff isn't a big deal and doesn't bother me much, but the runny nose and it draining down my throat non stop is driving me nuts and grossing me out and making me nauseated. I've never had so much snot in my entire life! Sorry to be so gross and thank you in advance for any suggestions!
