Also, AromaTools has tear pads for dogs, cats, and horses. I've attached the dog sheet, but you might want to order some so you can tell others of your success.
Looking at the dog sheet, it looks like Helichrysum and Immortelle are recommended to help with nerve damage. There are also oils to help with inflammation--frankincense, lavender, serenity, Immortelle, peppermint.
I fill the rollers about halfway with oils and then add FCO to fill the rest of the way. For a 5 mL roller, I use about 45 drops of oil and the rest FCO. In the 10 mL I poured in a little deep blue (about 1/4 inch high), and then added about 20 drops each of the AromaTouch and Frankincense, then FCO to fill the bottle.
For my son's pup we had three roller bottles--one as an "antibiotic" (frankincense, on guard, oregano), another for calming and wound healing (lavender, serenity, balance), and the third was the deep blue mix for pain and inflammation. We used the rollers on the incision cite on her tummy, and on the pads of all four paws about every 2 hours.
You could put them on the pads of your dog's feet and on/around the affected area as well.
Oh, you can also give your dog LLV! I would just open the capsules and pour/sprinkle it on the pup's food. Maybe 1 capsule each per day (child's dose) depending on the size of your dog.
Good luck,
Liz
