[Everything doTERRA] Frankincense inquiry

Hello all!

An IPC from one of my down lines has done some research on frankincense and the derivatives of frankincense in the doterra bottles mention it is from l Boswellia frereana which only comes from Africa, Somalia. I wrote her back mentioning it was from Oman but this is what she claims. Furthermore she mentions Dr Hill not being reliable bc he's a chiropractor and not a herbal EO professional.

Here you see it is native to Somalia and maybe Yemen. The highly prized B. sacra is cultivated in the Sultanate of Oman.

All of the frankincense possess beneficial effects, but the Omani is exceptional in its effect on cancer.

I'm not disputing the benefits of frankincense. I'm disputing their claim of being the the Omani. I'll call their product department and ask about it.

Also, their chief medical officer, Dr. Hill is a chiropractor. I haven't listened to the cd, but I would be wary about his recommendation about EO use.

As physicians we were not instructed or taught about herbs or medicinal uses of plants.
