I have a friend who is a long-time rheumatoid arthritis sufferer. Recently she was diagnosed with a complication, Felty syndrome. I looked at everythingessential.me and could find nothing referencing Felty alone nor anything referencing it under RA. Felty often includes a swollen spleen, decreased white blood cell count, and repeated infections. A common drug used to treat it is methotrexate, which she tried and it did not work out - the side effects of course were worse than the problem itself.
Does anyone have any experience with essential oils and Felty? Any help would be appreciated.
