Those photos look familiar, wonder if she shared them elsewhere on line. Because it is past tense and it a roller ball commonly used for headache or pain my guess is that is make up or some sort of lotion that transferred on to the rollerball and got inside. I alway run my finger across the top and apply that way.

My friend sent me these photos of her past tense. She's really worried. Any thoughts as to what this stuff is? I didn't think it would be possible for Past Tense to go rancid but I have no idea what to tell her. I've never seen this before.
