RE: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Complex brain malformation in utero

What condition does the baby have?

If there is a potential risk to the baby then she should not be inducing

The normal length of gestation ranges from 38 to 43 weeks

The baby’s head size is not predictable accurately and the way the labor progresses has to happen before it could be determined fi she is CPD (the baby’s head is too big to fit)

Meaning she has to labor before someone can say the head is too big

Its actually non predictable ….it’s an educated guess that many times is wrong

Your friend may consider getting chiropractic care, performing pelvic releases and doing some inversion to help with alignment of the uterus and baby

There are many natural effective inductives if needed but she may want to start there and also recognize she is a consumer if the baby is doing well and she is doing well ( no real medical reason)why force something

Especially if she has already decided she is amiable with a C-section.  Just my opinion but babies who are not in trouble in utero should be left alone until

they signal the start of labor naturally.  If all is well and we are pushing 42 or 43 weeks a nudge is appropriate.

Get to the root issues don’t  deal with a symptom

You would not be happy making a recommendation and then having the oils look ineffective

When a person is not ready to give birth I have found that no amount of chemicals natural or synthetic can make it happen and many times

It produces complications that call for interventions that would have been avoidable

Clary Sage does work for this but only if she is ready to give birth. We also heard that Jasmine was a great one, I gave some to my daughter who was also trying to not be induced, it also did not work for her. It doesn't mean it won't work for your friend.

I am hoping to hear from some of our amazing birthing coaches and doula's.

Hi everybody. To continue on my original post, my friend is still pregnant. She has been able to carry her baby to 'term'. She is 38 weeks gestation. Due to enlarged head size, the doctors have told my friend that she must have this baby before the end if next week.  If she doesn't, they will induce her. She doesn't want to be induced if at all possible, so she is looking for things that can induce labor. She recently purchased evening primrose oil. She decided against blue or black kohosh because it thins the blood and because of the baby's condition she is at risk for potential c-section. I wanted to recommend clary sage but have not been able to find any information on whether or not it thins the blood. Do any of you know?  Do any of you have other recommendations for inducing labor?
