[Everything doTERRA] Re: Friends Concern about the oils causing intoxification

That is silly. Frankincense is almost completle Monterpine Hydrocarbons. They are anti-tumor (they assist in helping our bodies present as they're written also encouraging proper apoptosis), they encourage movement of fluids (detoxing), anti-viral, energizing... Frank is also loved for its inflammation reducing attributes noted.

Their souce either made that up or misread/heard something or they where refering to someone's synthetic version. This is not even a case of a little bit of knowledge is dangerous. This is just misinformed.

The only chemical constituents commonly found in essential oils that could even be trippy are Keytons and Frank does not have keytones. None of the oils doterra carries are high enough in keystones to cause that. Note that keytons are cell regenerative & mucoltic and they are very exciting as to what they encourage our bodies to do so don't think they are bad, they are brilliant. I say this as someone who does not drink and has never done drugs, intoxication is something I avoid.

There I think you have 3 opinions, some jargon, and some resource listed below. :). Also a word of caution don't be personally invested in there belief. They may or may not be in a space where they are ready for natural soultions.

Resources to send them to:

Or www.pubmed.gov to read up on Frankincense.
