And Peppermint smell changed so much, that is not because season change.
I am not in leadership.
Still would like to know, what I could not say.

That is my point exactly. So, it would appear that it is not a case of DT choosing to remove 100% pure because of what Dr Pappas said.It sounds like they have been told to remove it.We need clarification from DT, and it is disappointing that I have to ask for it.I'll update you here when I get an answer to my email.

I saw that, but it doesn't seem correct.--If doTERRA made the decision themselves to remove the phrase "100% pure", then why only remove it from the US website? It is still on the UK website, the AUS website etc.I queried that with Dr Pappas, but he didn't comment.I'm still waiting for a reply from doTERRA.

The statement was immediately refuted by EO chemist Robert Pappas, who said:
"So much misinformation out there. DoTerra was not ordered to do anything. They made the decision to take 100% off their site because the truth is NOTHING ON EARTH is 100% pure. I would advise any company to never use this kind of language because you open yourself up to lawsuits. Nobody has 100% pure essential oils. I can analyze any line of oils out there and find small impurities in them that should not be there. A client currently has hired me to analyze all the oils of one of DoTerra's main competitors and the very first oil I analyzed I found 0.4% of a toxic component that's way worse than the 0.16 % ethyl vanillin (a safe and common flavor ingredient) that was claimed to have been found in a batch of DoTerra's peppermint. People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. And if you sell essential oils then you live in a glass house from perspective of the EO analyst. If I want to dig deep enough I can find something wrong with any oil someone gives me to analyze. It's all just a matter of what's a reasonable and acceptable level of contamination."
So it was doTerra's own decision to do that.
