I had PUPPPS with my second child over 5 years ago. It's absolutely miserable. I wasn't using oils back then but found that a total histamine block helped tremendously. I took a 12 hour antihistamine (Claritin maybe?) and a 12 hour stomach acid controller, both OTC, twice a day. They of course kept a close eye on amniotic fluid levels. Taking both together was the trick for me because one at a time did nothing. How many weeks is she? You could try lavender/lemon/peppermint in place of the Claritin (assuming she's not far along enough that breast milk supply would be a problem). Peppermint is tricky during pregnancy. Perhaps try lavender with FCO directly on the places that itch the worst. It might take the edge off the itch.

Has anyone found any oils that are helpful with puppps rash? I believe that's the right name. My sister is pregnant and has this rash. Her doc wants to put her on a steroid but she doesn't want to do that. It's driving her nuts so any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
