Still awaiting answering. I have been plague by this since I was in my 20's. Would love to not go into final kidney failure eventually. I have had it it twice acutely.

Basically IgA (which is a immune complex) attaches itself to your organs like your kidneys and the body attacks the IgA thinking it is a foreign substance but it is not. Meanwhile your organ become inflamed and leaks blood/protein and can lead to eventual kidney failure. 

Most of the time the body reacts when you are ill. That is when your immune system is at hyper vigilance.
