I love the oil for home use and the softgels go in my purse, backpack and in my husbands backpack for classes. The softgels have saved me in a lot of different places. For me they are small enough to swallow without water but I know this is not the case for most. If your children don't just swallow them they will taste bad so the oil may be best for them.
