My son does not stay still either but is getting better with time. As long as they are receptive to receiving but if they are fighting it then I would stop. I also keep a prayer in my heart for the person that I'm giving with the things they specifically need. It does get conveyed.
Using Coconut oil - If your family is okay with that then continue to use it. I would caution you when using it on other people. Make sure they do not have allergies to coconut products first. Using regular coconut oil in ATT gives me a roaring migraine.
I also get really sweaty when giving an ATT you are definitely not alone.
