[Everything doTERRA] Re: Contraindication using methyl salicylate containing oils concurrent with NSAIDs

To clarify why I'm asking, my husband has chronic pain and has to take either ibuprofen or naproxen. Both are not to be taken with aspirin.  The primary ingredient in aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid.  I would like to make sure there is no problem using methyl salicylate (Deep Blue or Wintergreen), similar to acetylsalicylic acid along with the ibuprofen or naproxen.  Thank you!!!

Is there a contraindication using an oil such as Wintergreen, that contains a high level of methyl salicylate, the primary ingredient in aspirin, along with the use of Advil or Aleve?  Thanks in advance!!
