[Everything doTERRA] Re: Cough that won't go away!

There are many wonderful oil recipes here that I'm anxious to try, I
also have a fail safe non-oil solution that my family has used for
nearly 30 years, we call it "Dragon Juice".

DRAGON JUICE
2 tsp @ cayenne, ground ginger
1/2 c @ honey, apple cider vinegar
1 c warm water
Mix in a 'shakeable' pint size bottle. I use warm water to help blend
in the honey. We shake it up and take about 2-3 tsp every hour or
two. If you need to chase it, a half piece of bread is better than
water! I find that it takes about 7-8 times a day when treating an
acute cough.

We keep it at room temperature when we're treating (just our choice),
and keep it in the refrigerator between treatment of illness (it seems
to never go bad). I often put some in a separate bottle for myself
when I'm treating, and take about three swallows directly from the
bottle about every hour or so as needed. For children (over one year
old) we mix it in a small amount of applesauce, and when they finish
the medicine sauce, they get some plain applesauce.
