RE: [Everything doTERRA] what to say?

Just a thought

We have people teaching at our university who are called “professors” but have no degree themselves in the subject

they teach.  One of the instructors that comes to mind who is a professor of dance in the human arts department

has no degree from a university but she has taken a lot of various classes and is very skilled herself in belly dance and

other types of native dance but she has no degree and yet she is considered and billed as a professor

I wonder this persons back ground and whether you want to be taking a class from her

The school has an obligation to provide quality and accurate info to the paying students that’s my only concern

We are all capable of sharing our experiences (teaching others) and helping direct people to excellent clinical studies if they need that

You simply cannot argue with some people (I am proud of myself that I remembered the rules of this forum). First of all I would not take a class from someone like her, second Gary Young is not a doctor, and third: you will do more good teaching and sharing about our oils than she will do in a lifetime.
Just walk away from her and do what you know is true and right.

Hi there, I am a little frustrated and thought you folks could help me understand, or at least alleviate my frustration.  I am going to school and I was talking on break with the "teacher" that teaches aromatherapy.  She has been doing it since 1998, and says that essential oils should never be taken internally.  Young living oils were the best but because of the MLM hype she didn't buy them but that Dr. Gary Young is amazing.  I tried to explain that doTERRa was a younger company with third party testing to bring the puriest oils that could be taken internally and I was living proof, as I had totally changed my health in the past year.  She got rather ugly with me, and said that it was just all hype and it wasn't safe.  Normally I would just move on, however, this lady is a teacher, and is touching people with her ignorance.  Including saying that essential oils should not be on the shelf as there are several that are toxic to pregnant women to touch or smell.  ~  HELP!!!!  thankfully she is only teaching a 5 hour class next semester.... but I would like any suggestions.

Oh when I mentioned the third party testing and the purity of the oils, she said she would put her synthetic tea tree oil up against anyone else's oils for effecacy.  UGH!

HELP please...........
