I have a positive essential oil story..
Recently, I have been dealing with a slough of physical and emotional issues, both of which had escalated to the point of overwhelm in October when 4 of my teeth shattered to the degree that the remnants needed to be removed. Thankfully, the gaps are only noticeable if I smile broadly. Unfortunately, that is usually how I smile, and my budget does not include the nearly $40,000 required to replace these four teeth and fix the remaining ones anytime soon. In addition, I am enduring a rotator cuff injury which is both painful and frustrating, especially since I am a massage therapist and actually need to use both arms daily. So.. My mood has been down and my body has been in pain for weeks.. That is the bad news.
The good news is that I am blessed with a rather huge, jetted bathtub, and a couple of days ago, I was able to carve enough time out of my day to take a soak.
Usually, I like to put Lavender and Rosemary in my bath, but this time, these did not seem to be the right oils for me.
Frustrated and seeking inspiration, I said a little prayer and asked which oils I should use. The answer that came to me was Immortelle.
I popped the roller ball top off, and dumped nearly 1/2 a bottle of that precious blend into the tub (mixing first with some bath salts), and climbed on in to the tub.
I can report that within mere moments, my mood was lifted. And by the time I had finished soaking, my aches and pains had dissipated to the degree that I felt immortal!
I can also report that my pain-free euphoria lasted for about 3 days!
So folks, Immortelle is for more than just a pretty face! Try it in the tub too! :-)
