Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Doggie Diarrhea

If you have a small dog (or large bank account!), Addiction dehydrated food is awesome.  It's as good as raw without the mess.  It's the dog food my dog enjoys and she's never sick, has great skin, fur, bowel movements, etc.

I second others' opinion of looking at the food that the dog is getting. It took me a LONG time of trial and error to find a good food for my dog (after so many vet bills...) and that was all his problem was. food. I had adopted him also and was at my wits end finding something for him to eat.
I 100% recommend a raw diet if you have the funds and freezer space for it. Its the best thing I ever did for my dog. however now unfortunately I am living in an apartment with a tiny freezer so he is back to kibble. Nature's Variety Instinct Limited Ingredient Diet has been a lifesaver. I had him on it for about a year now and his system is cleaned out enough I am slowly (with success so far) weaning him back onto a less costly, quality grain free food.
I also add pumpkin to his food instead of canned meat to mix in his joint powder and it also helps.
I add a drop of Digest-Zen if he is having an upset tummy or rub some on his stomach.

sorry if this is posted twice, I could'nt find the post after the first time. I have a new dog that I adopted a couple of weeks ago. He is 2 years old seems very healthy, happy and has adjusted well. Only problem is he has quite bad diarrhea, I would appreciate any suggestions. I have used digest zen on him a couple of times but Im not sure Im doing the right thing so haven't been consistent with it. any help is appreciated.
