Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: bladder infection question

Shireen,
In my experience, a small glass of cranberry juice a day, (100% juice sweetened with stevia) will help. D-Manose is also preventative. When I had UTIs for 6 months straight, I drank asparagus tea daily for a month, and took colloidal silver for about that amount of time. I also took Oreganol P-73 (before I knew about EOs) and that was the end of my dilemma. If your Mother is elderly, she may want to ask her doctor to prescribe some estrogen. It can be taken vaginally and this will thicken up the tissues to prevent further UTIs. BHRT would be better but sometimes it is more difficult to get, ie. not covered by insurance.

Hope this helps,
Linda

My mother has been taking an antibiotic for over a year. If she stops the antibiotic, she immediately gets a bad bladder infection. She would like to get off the antibiotic and we are looking for an oil alternative. However, it has to be effective enough since she pretty much has chronic bladder infection. I will tell her about the suggestions on here. Any additional suggestions would be useful.
