[Everything doTERRA] Re: Oils Not Effective

I can relate to this feeling.  I often feel frustrated when what seems to work for everyone else, even the people I'm helping, doesn't seem to work for me.  I've often contemplated this same question- what's up with me?, and why isn't it working like it does for everyone else?  I figure there is probably a candida issue that has yet to be resolved, and there could be a diabetic/blood sugar issue since it runs in the family.  One thing I have noticed is my own tendencies and behaviors.  Being mom, I'm quick to take care of the rest of my family, but when it comes to myself, I don't do as well.  I don't take care of things at the first sign of an issue, nor am I very consistent.  I've heard Dr. Hill say that usually if you ask people if they are consistent, persistent, and frequent, as well as if the foundation is healthy (rest, stress reduction, diet, sleep, exercise, etc), then you will find one of those departments is lacking and that is why they are not as effective for us.  Since I'm a busy mom, and my foundation is not solid, nor is my consistency, frequency, or persistency with myself, I'm actually not surprised things seem to be less effective for me.  I've also found, that the typical oils that are primary recommendations and seem to work for most, are not the ones that work for me, so I have to play around with things a bit more to find my oils.  For example- deep blue, or past tense is usually an effective headache oil.  I have to use marjoram, frankincense and peppermint, and not just topically, but also under the tongue, and not just once or twice, but often 3 times in a 4-6 hour time frame.  I think it's tweaking some things a bit, and doing things more frequently and as soon as symptoms appear that make a difference for me.  Using the LLV is another area I could improve on.  I hope this helps.

I am a firm believer in essential oils and have been using them in my home and for my family for several years now.  However, personally, I don't get the same results using them as my family and friends do.  A fellow IPC suggested the new DDR Prime blend.  I've just read the standard literature on this.  What have you experienced with it?  I don't have any glaring health concerns or issues, but I do notice small wounds take forever to heal.  I'm sure candida is somewhat of an issue, but I'm still nursing a baby and don't know how much detoxing I should do.  I'm greatful for any insight as to why I'm not seeing results and what to do.
