[Everything doTERRA] Re: Hair loss, possible PCOS

I have PCOS, and although I have lost hair I don't think it was directly related to the PCOS.  Have her be sure she is getting enough protein, seriously look at a lowcarb diet, because this will help with insulin resistance and get hormones back inline.  I used The Schwarzbein Principle but she will need to research many lowcarb diets to see what she can work with.  PCOS is an endocrine disorder because of this many other endocrine systems can be disfunctional, she should have her thyroid check because low thyroid is a common issue with PCOS, adrenal glands are often effected, as are pituitary glands.

My sister hasn't been diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) but she has a lot of the symptoms--- irregular menstruation, inability to lose weight around midsection, excess hair on face.  She also has lost much of the hair on the top of her head.  It's very very noticeable, and can't really be covered up.  To my knowledge, PCOS is very common, but doctors disagree as to the cause.  Some think it's a hormone disruption caused by exposure to toxins...

What would you all recommend to start with?  I have seen some people mention PCOS on here, but I haven't seen a protocol or plan for how to tackle it...

Many thanks for ideas!
