Re: [Everything doTERRA] Son bitten by tick

Someone recently posted that thyme and bergamot can help suppport those with Lyme. I would think On Guard and Purify would be good to help keep it from "taking root." I rmeember years back some women did an experiment with several oils and ticks. The ticks LOVED Terrashield :( but died when they hit Purify. I'd forgotten that. So annoint him with Purify?

Since you don't know if the tick transmitted Lyme, or if his immune system is handling it if so, you are sort of stuck in a waiting period. I think whatever you do for prevention would be good. Think in terms of bacterial infection, so your On Guard, oregano, melaleuca, and lemon mix sounds like a great approach to me.

Hi Karen

Thank you for your response! We'll look into testing.

I've been applying lavender basil and frankincense to he bite site morning and night since it happened and I've commenced with giving him a bomb of 2 drops Onguard oregano melaleuca and lemon once a day...does this sound okay? There are a few varying protocols and suggestions on the site so I'm unsure of the immediate action I should take?

Many thanks Margie
