Can you give me more info about the source of T3 and T4 from Koshland? Are these synthetics? I'm currently using Thyro-Gold from Natural Thyroid Solutions made from whole gland of New Zealand cows. It works for me but not approved for insurance purposes because this product is considered "supplement." So I have to shoulder all the cost. Is yours approved by your insurance company? Does it required a doctor's prescription? I have no thyroid glands, as well.
I have inquired from compounding pharmacies before if they can give me T3 and T4 sourced from cows or lamb but all they can provide is sourced from pigs.
I would appreciate your kind response.

I would stay away from porcine thyroid (pig thyroid) unless you have ruled out an autoimmune condition. You would not want to rile up your antibodies against your thyroid.
I am getting my T3 & T4 from Koshland custom Compounding Pharmacy. They send it to me in the mail. It has no GMO fillers like the regular Pharmaceuticals use.
I need the med because I do not have a thyroid gland anymore. I used diet and lifestyle to no longer have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (an autoimmune disease)!
