I think LLV is a great choice for pregnant women! I didn't use it at all with my oldest, he had a speech delay enough to require therapy. With my second son, I used it in the last 3 months of the pregnancy. At 16 months old we started noticing something was off, which finally led into an official diagnosis of autism after he turned 3. But with therapy, he's been able to make decent strides and enjoys taking the children's version of LLV.
With my third (and most closely spaced pregnancy), I took LLV for the entire pregnancy (had never stopped taking since the pregnancy of my second) and by far she's the most "normal". Her speech is well ahead of both brothers. The vitamins are the only big difference between all three of my pregnancies.
If you can take the vitamins before bed, even better - it gives it all night to be absorbed by your body and not pushed out faster with food.
