Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: e-coli O157:H7

I have a friend in her 60's who says she had cystitis (inflammation in the urinary track) a lot when she was younger.  She now has e-coli in her bladder. She has been on antibiotics many times. It keeps coming back. She said she was told she has a short urethra. I don't know if that has anything to do with her problem though.                                                When she drinks cranberry or lemonade juice (anything acid) it makes it worse. I was afraid the citrus oils would cause a problem for her. If she use them topically instead of orally would the oils still work well and not bother her?
She used to be a physician's assistant and does not believe EO can help her. She takes meds for her heart, so she would have to be careful what she takes.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

I found this link where a study has shown Coriander oil to kill E.Coli but I don't think the strain is mentioned. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/08/24/coriander-oil-bacteria-kills-cilantro_n_935290.html

We have a friend that called very desperate,  There 13 year old girl
as a case of E-coli,  they are confirming, but believe it is the
O157:H7 strain.  They have been told that there is no cure, but one of
their doctors recommended they research alternative medicines.  We had
approached them last year about doTerra, but there was not an interest
until last night. I told her to let me check with some people in the
company that know.

So I hope you have some good ideas?
