Everyone needs to bookmark www.ewg.org/skindeep a database where you can research cosmetic ingredients.  PEG-100 Stearate, which is in Deep Blue Rub, has a rating of 3 (out of 10).  You also can see how much data that rating is based on and get specifics about potential concerns.  Then make decisions for yourself.  Most PEG products are 3, some are 4-6.  That person may have made the decision that they only want things 2 or less.
