My son was bitten by a brown recluse on his hand. The doctor put him on antibiotics and then I made him put OnGuard around the outside of the wound (not directly on it). I also had him put DDR Prime liquid on the outside of the wound. He was NOT left with a gaping hole in the side of his hand! I'd post pictures, but they are really gross. Good luck and I will be praying!

I've searched the group and came up with some suggestions for a brown recluse bite. I'm working with the mother in law who has never used essential oils and is a little leary to trying. I'm seeing so many different suggestions I don't know which one to go with.
The gal has had surgery with a wound a little bigger than a quarter round and 2' deep in calf where they "cut out" the dead tissue from the bite. The Dr.s are telling her that the toxin is still in her leg and they got back Friday to talk about amputation!!!!!
The wound is packed and she is not comfortable putting the oils directly in. I'm thinking either a roll on bottle or a dropper bottle.
My question is......will blending the oils in a roll on decrease the efficacy of the oils (notes and all that stuff I know little about) or will it make a difference? Since she's had the surgery, I'm thinking Patchouli, Heli, Franki, Lavender and Thyme? I read a lot about Purify with melaleuca but adding those to one roll on seems like a lot.
Suggestions and she wants to meet this afternoon! Thanks in advance
