[Everything doTERRA] Re: Rash caused by sun??

Does he eat shellfish?  Or take any supplements that are derived from shellfish?  I ask because I have a reaction if I eat shellfish and get in the sun within 48 hours or so.  I get big, angry red welts any place the sun touches my skin.  I would suggest Lavender, Geranium or Melaleuca to ease the pain and itching of the rash.
