[Everything doTERRA] Re: Group B Strep prevention

Cara,
Do you suggest they use the PB Assist for the probiotics or do you recommend a different brand?  I just found out that my test will be next Thursday and I really want to test negative this time.  Would be less stressful for me just in case we weren't at the hospital early enough for 2 of the doses of the meds for Strep B, if I test positive.  Do you have your clients use the apple cider vinegar just straight in the peri bottle?  How much do you suggest to rinse with?  Thanks!

Here is the game plan for my doula clients:

-probiotics daily
-on guard on feet day and night
-apple cider vinegar rinse (with peri bottle) or sitz bath at least once a day (make sure it's real/active ACV, not the national-brand stuff, Bragg's is great)
-bring witch hazel along to the appointment, just before the test (either ask to go bathroom or do it after the urinalysis collection), clean really really well with witch hazel, including all of the areas that will get swabbed
-optional: score a garlic clove (poke holes in it) and insert it vaginally overnight (remove in the morning).  some people are comfortable with this, some people aren't :-)

Let me know if you have questions!

Hi all,
I have Stephanie Fritz's book about Essential Oil use for Birth, Babies and Labor and she mentions that she recommends people use Chlorahexidine with water in a peri bottle to prevent GBS from spreading.  I am 34 weeks pregnant and I am supposed to have a test at either 35 or 36 weeks for GBS (either next Thursday or the week after).  I tested positive with my second pregnancy and only had one dose of meds (penicillin) before she was born.  We were back in the hospital for another issue as she had meconium in her nose and they made us stay for her to have the meds to prevent GBS, even though all of her tests came back negative.  Anyhow, my question is if the Terrazyme would be something I could take to hopefully prevent me from testing positive for GBS or if I should really try to get the PB Assist at this point in the game.  I try to eat yogurt everyday but maybe I should also find a probiotic of some sort that would be a good immune booster to aid in a negative GBS test.  Any ideas you all have would be great!  Thanks.
