[Everything doTERRA] Re: 13 yr. old girl with migranes

I've had migraines since I was 9, and have tried numerous medications, all with side effects. I have being using doTERRA for a year, and haven't needed to take a Maxalt (rescue med) for 6 months. At the first twinge of a headache, I apply Past Tense to my forehead (not too close to eyes) and neck. This often works in one application, but sometimes I have to do it several times (every 15 minutes or so). If it's still hurting, I do frankincense, lavender, and peppermint on the temples and put a drop of frankincense on the roof of my mouth (protocol from Dr. Me). That will usually clear it up. I recently noticed that I haven't had to use Past Tense as often, and I think it's because I also started taking a drop of frankincense (in a capsule or  under my tongue) twice a day; I also apply Balance and frankincense to the bottoms of my feet twice a day. And I've used the LLV supplements for several months. I'm gradually adjusting to a healthier diet- eliminating sugar, refined and processed foods, and dairy. And I think this will help me even more. So, the Past Tense is great for when a headache develops, but I think it's important to address any underlying problems, such as dietary triggers, to reduce the number of headaches, as well. Her situation might be different since she has a history of concussion. However, frankincense might help with that, as well. I've shared Past Tense with several people who have migraines, and they're always surprised at how fast it works.
For sleep, I have my own little protocol of Balance, clary sage, and frankincense on the bottoms of the feet and Serenity on the wrists and over the heart. My Mom uses Citrus Bliss and lavender, and others can use just lavender; so, she might have to experiment and see what works best for her. Aroma Touch blend applied to the legs with FCO has also helped me with occasional restless leg problems.

I hope someone can help with suggestions.  She had a concussion several months ago, has had some sleep and restless leg issues, her migraines seem to be getting worse and she's missing a lot of school. Already had x-ray; no tumor. Blood work showed she had some mono in the past, but they don't know how recent. Neurologist had said next step may be an MRI. Cranial/sacral visits didn't help. She has been reticent to try oils, but is softening and more willing now, out of desperation, but I don't want to experiment on her unsuccessfully and solidify her belief that oils are hocus pocus. Should I try AromaTouch? Give her o
ils for hormone balance? Other ideas?  Thank you in advance...
