Frankly, I would consider avoiding the booster vaccine. I'm profoundly deaf, but at birth my hearing tested normal. I believe there are some cases of the vaccine causing deafness in people. Being deaf isn't something I would wish on anybody, which is why I'm avoiding vaccinating my children.
Obviously, I have a rather biased perspective, so keep that in mind. :)
