Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Blending 'Slim and Sassy' without Peppermint

I would be cautious about taking oils internally while breastfeeding. I know a lot of Moms say they do it with no problem, but obviously you have a problem with it, so just use the oils topically for now.

Just to add my experience to the conversation.
My little boy is now a month old and I decided to take slim & sassy yesterday.  I took it 3 times, starting in the afternoon.  I breastfeed, and he spit up the last 4 feedings in the day, had a screaming fit and diarrhea.  Not a good result, and from what other things I ate yesterday, food was not the culprit.  So, I will not be taking slim & sassy anymore while breastfeeding.  It was a sad experience.
It worries me to take the oils internally while breastfeeding. Should I not?  Or was it just that combination?  I saw mentioned that slim & sassy is a gentle detox.  So was he upset because he was taking in those toxins?  I was shocked that it would cause such a reaction in my little boy.  :(
