I had an issue that the oils seemed to irritate--perhaps caused by a detox I did that may have been too severe. I ended up getting help from my naturopath, who uses the oils, but gave me some ointment called cheliderm cream, and also some HMF Candigen gel. These are antifungals and were very helpful. She also told me that fungal infections can be helped more with clotrimazole (as in vaginal ointment--not the Monostat, but the other brand). The vaginal clotrimazole is 2%, while the stuff for athlete's foot is only 1%. You might try a bit of that on part of his patch and see if it makes any difference. ? With caution, of course. Then you can find out if there's a fungal element to it.
It seems possible to me (not that I am a medical person, or that knowledgeable about detox) that cutting out the gluten and dairy, if recent, might be causing a little detox. Just an idea.

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] Psoriasis issue
Hello,
Im so excited to be using all the oils. Its only 3 weeks for me into the EO journey, and I am loving it! My starter kit some are empty already :-)
Anyway, my husband has an issue and we are stumped.
He has this redness/swelling on his leg. We thought it was psoriasis, then went to the doctors a few weeks back and he said it was cellulits. He has been on really strong antibiotics. It has changed a little, but seems to flare up when we put anything on it or swims in cold water. The doctor thought the cellulits was gone, so must be Psoriasis now. It swells up when he works all day.
To start with we have
* he has cut out gluten from his diet
* cut out diary
* we eat whole food and organic where possible
* He has been applying -oregano, lemon, frankinsense and onguard (we have stopped now)
* He doesnt eat refined sugar.
I am wondering if there is anything good you can use to calm the redness down? He is so embarrased by it. I really feel for him.
So wisdom/dvice would be good. I was thinking maybe lavander, geranium and lemongrass?
Also, he is doing a stool test to check what is happening in his gut and target that to, as I know all things stem from there.
Anyway, if you have some advice, that would be awesome
Thanks so much
Amanda
