I don't know what would be considered "too many"  Deep Blue capsules but if that's a concern there are a couple other things you can do for sciatica.

This is what worked for me:

Apply Lemongrass (dilute because it's covering a lot of area) on the glut and down the leg (the offending side) and also on the heel of the pain side. I've also layered Wintergreen and White Fir this way because they're a wonderful "team" for dealing with pain.

If that wasn't enough I'd also put 4-5 drops of Thyme (top of with carrier oil) in a veggie cap and take that.

Doing these things, my sciatica pain lasted about 24-36 hours.  The other night I felt it starting again - the other side this time. Being both groggy and lazy I just grabbed the peppermint solution I already have in the bathroom and applied it like above. I think I did this just a couple times and the issue was resolved.
