Re: [Everything doTERRA] Post Menopausal estrogen issue

I have had some of the same symptoms as you. Frequent urination, pressure on my bladder is my symptoms. I was diagnosed with Over
Active Bladder. It is not fun. I go to a Naturopathic Dr. and she gives me a tincture that helps a great deal. I was miserable going out
shopping because I had to find a bathroom all the time. I went to my gynocologist and medical Dr. both gave me same diagnosis.
Not sure if this helps.

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] Post Menopausal estrogen issue

I went through menopause about 10 years ago and am now started to have issues.  About 3 years ago I went to my urogynecologist because I thought my bladder had fallen. Instead it was the back vaginal wall and she prescribed Premarin (estrogen) cream.  After 3 days I was itching and burning so bad I couldn't stand it and she told me to stop.  Since I new it was my vagina wall, I wasn't concerned and didn't have any issues.
About 6 months ago, I began feeling like I had to pee all the time and that something was pushing on my bladder.  I have had frequent UTIs all my life and so I drank my Corn silk tea as I always have and it helped for a while.  However, over the last 3 months I feel like my bladder is full all the time and have to go to the bathroom, which 90 percent of the time, I have very little urine in the bladder.  Besides feeling like I have to go the bathroom, it also feels like a have a tampon in but it is not in right.  I'm sure most tampon users will understand what I am saying.   I drink about 32 oz of water during the day so I know I flush my bladder out well.  I have gone to my primary and I have no UTI which is usually the symptoms I am having indicate.  I finally decided I can't take this feeling and discomfort any more and when to see my urogynecologist last week. She diagnosed me with post menopausal low estrogen.  Apparently, some women get this.  Since I am not producing estrogen any more, the linings of my bladder and vagina have thinned to the point that the nerves are constantly irritated causing the discomfort.  She prescribed an estrogen cream and also gave me Diflucan (yeast tablets as this is a side effect of the cream) just in case I get a yeast infection.  I have used Lemongrass on my feet, wrists and over my bladder area, which has given my a little relief as the symptoms are not as strong but still there.
My questions is if anyone has come across this problem and what did they do. I see that Doterra has a women's phytoestrogen lifetime complex and will get it in a minute of this will help. I also have read in the Modern essentials book that cypress and roman camomille are also good.  I filled the prescription this weekend and it cost me $232.00 and that was with my RX insurance.  This is for 1 tube.  I would prefer using natural products or oils.
Please help if you have any thoughts.
