Steve,
-- I was slow to accept the truth of my diet, but one night when I couldn't sleep I stumbled across the WheatBelly blog and was inspired. I've grown weary of hurting (non-stop inflammation), of sleeping poorly (restless leg, insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea...), virtually constant low-level stomach pain, inconsistent BP (leaning toward high), elevated cholesterol...Need I go on? LOL
I started slowly, I got rid of the wheat first. But after reading the book I went grain-free and sugar free (about 3.5 weeks ago). I have years of damage to overcome but I'm in it for the long haul and already the difference is amazing. The arthritis pain is greatly diminished and the essential oils even seem to be more effective.
Go for it, Steve, it's worth it. Oh, and take some pictures of yourself each week so you can track your changes.

Hi Dee,
Interesting you mentioned Wheat Belly - Just bought that book and associated cookbook - haven't read it yet but I will - I will add the lemongrass to my daily "stuff"
Thanks!

But, please, go to the WheatBelly Blog and learn how wheat is connected to high/dangerous levels of cholesterol (among other things). You can also buy the book Wheat Belly by Dr.William Davis who is a cardiologist. The information is jaw-dropping.Many on this forum say that you need to include healthy eating because one can't expect the oils to counter all of one's bad choices. I agree, though I'm new to get on that "wagon," so with what you learn about healthy foods in Wheat Belly and using the doterra oils you'll see a remarkable improvement in you overall health.Dee

Greetings,
I'm getting my bloodwork done tomorrow (Dietetic A1C) and I would like to drop these two meds for various reasons (cost being a big one - insurance stopped covering Crestor and its 217.50 a month - not for me!)
Looking for suggestions on a regiment to handle these issues without the prescription drugs.
Thanks!
Steve
