I get these a lot of what I do is thyme and clove (3-4 drops each) in a veggie cap three times a day for seven full days. The key here is consistency and lots of water. Something to consider though is that some soaps and detergents can make a bladder infection keep flaring up. She may want to consider unscented and color free detergent along with a mild soap. After the seven days I would start the probiotics.

I am dealing with a friend, 76 years old, female, who has a recurring bladder infection. Four days after finishing a course of antibiotics, the infection returns. Symptoms abate immediately upon resuming the antibiotic. Last week on the day she finished her round of antibiotics, she started an essential oil protocol: 2 drops Frank, 6 drops On Guard, 6 drops Oregano in a capsule, 3 times a day. Still, the infection returned 4 days later. She drinks lots of water and takes a probiotic. She's found cranberry extracts ineffective. Her infection is caused by Escherichia coli. She's pretty desperate for help as the next options involve intravenous antibiotics.
Any ideas?
