I had a similar problem when I was doing water aerobics. I made a spray bottle of lemon, On Guard and nonclorinated water. After getting out of the pool and showering(chlorinated also), towel off, then spray your entire body with the spray mixture, you can either rub it in or let it air dry. This really helped my skin with the chemicals. I have filters on our shower heads as well as filters in our kitchen, so the chlorine is a shock to my body. I hope this helps you, you may also want to add lavender to a clean lotion for after you are dry.

I do aqua therapy and have terrible skin itching (particularly on legs and ankles) for 30 or 40 min. after getting out of pool. This occurs even though I shower afterI. A few times I tried not showering, but no change. Any suggestions?
