Along with the oils mentioned I would suggest that she slowly tapers from the Aleve. Start by taking 1 1/2 for a week, then go down to 1 for a week, then go down to a half for a week. If the pain flares, taper slower. (Assuming Aleve can be split). In my experience, even with anti inflammatories that aren't supposed to be addictive, the body reacts similar to withdrawal especially with long term use.
Even though doctors, pharmacists and drug companies vehemently deny the possibility, many so called non addictive drugs do cause reactions when you stop taking them so keep that in mind with discontinuing any Rx.

I did not have any response to this so I am going to repost it and
hope people were just gone that day!  I have an IPC who is having
tremendous results with using LLV, frankincense internally, and
wintergreen topically. She currently also takes 2 over the counter
Aleve a day. She would like to get off of the aleve totally, so what
inflammation oils would she use internally? Topically it is too many
places. Internally also keeps the RA from flaring up. So, what oils
and how much could we use internally in place of the aleve? Thanks so
much. Brenda
