from the Aleve. Start by taking 1 1/2 for a week, then go down to 1 for
a week, then go down to a half for a week. If the pain flares, taper
slower. (Assuming Aleve can be split). In my experience, even with anti
inflammatories that aren't supposed to be addictive, the body reacts
similar to withdrawal especially with long term use.
Even though doctors, pharmacists and drug companies vehemently deny the
possibility, many so called non addictive drugs do cause reactions when
you stop taking them so keep that in mind with discontinuing any Rx.
