Thanks for bringing up this topic. I have been told that using the citrus oils, Lemon, Wild Orange, etc in water makes one more susceptable to burning if out in the sun. Do any of you know if this is true and would the various formulations you have told about in this topic, negate that possibility. One of my friends is out in the sun a lot as her son plays travel baseball and I had told her to stop using the citrus oils in her water this summer until she is out of the sun. She does take the LLV as well. What say all of you??? And thanks in advance!!

My 2 year old grand daughter is allergic to sunscreens so I was considering trying the recipe with the combination of helichrysum and FCO. Or one that also included lavender. My question was about the coconut oil. People use tanning oils that have coconut oil in them to tan. How is this keeping a person from burning? Or is this a completely different type of oil. I didn't want to try it til I had talked to others that have tried EO. Thanks--
