After my husband's surgery he used On Guard (for immune system), Helichrysum (addresses swellling), Frankincense (supports healing) and Immortelle (wonderful for helping skin) AROUND the surgical wound. He'd use the Helichrysum in the morning and the Frankincense in the evening and the On Guard and Immortelle both morning and evening. He also found that layering White Fir over Wintergreen eliminated the need for the prescription pain meds the doctor wanted to give him.

A week ago I had abdominal surgery. I'm healing great and have used on guard for the first week. Now I'm dealing with swelling and tenderness. Any oil suggestions to support recovery? Eventually I can also apply to the stitches, but not quite yet.
Thanks,
Jennifer
