I normally love deep blue but it has not helped me at all with my recently acquired plantar fasciitis.  I have found lemongrass (now since looking at Pat's answer to this, have just tried it mixed with wintergreen), aromatouch, and birch (all seperately) to be somewhat helpful.  I hope to get some relief soon as I can barely walk.

I want to kick myself...with my good foot...I have been suffering with this for about a month and have done NOTHING!  I am so good, almost the "pest point" with my hubby, kids and grandkids using the oils when something comes up.  Have been using the Wintergreen and deep blue several times a day for the past week and feel tremendous relief.

Since it is under control I do not need to try oils as of yet. I would defenitly try Deep Blue for the pain if I needed though. I am not an experienced oiler by any means though.
