[Everything doTERRA] Re: Eye Drops

I have tried the recipe you are referring to and it does sting at first. I like to keep my eyes closed for a few minutes and the sting goes away pretty fast. Considering my eyes are always dry and strained from reading and computer work I find it very soothing and the sting is worth it for me. I only use it once in a while though.

Has anyone had experience using the eye drop recipe listed in the "Modern Essentials" book on page 221?  The recipe is 5 parts distilled water, 2 parts honey, and 1 part apple cider vinegar.  I have found that this burns terribly when you put a drop in the eye.  I thought apple cider vinegar would sting a bit, but it stings for a while and I'm concerned about that.  Is this normal or did I do something wrong?  The reason I made the drops is that my eyes are not as clear as they use to be.  I plan to mix up the blend for cataracts on this page, as the last time I went to my eye doctor he said I was starting to get one in my right eye.  Thanks for any responses to this.
