[Everything doTERRA] Re: 4 year old with asthma, eczema and severe allergies

My son was on 5 breathing treatments and oxygen a lot in his little life before doterra.  So, this is my suggestion based on my experience.  I would take 1 drop breathe and 1 drop lime and layer those over the lung area on the front and also on the back.  Use fractionated coconut oil.  I would actually put a little on his little hands and have him sit and inhale in for 4 minutes.  Set a timer and it can be made to be fun-just cup his hands over his nose and mouth and inhale in (poor mans diffuser) then, have him take 1 drop lemon, 1 drop lavender and 1 drop peppermint in 1 swallow of water and have him swish and swallow that.  If he doesn't like the taste, have him eat a little cracker afterwards.  That is the allergy blend.  That will get into his mucous membranes quicker (up where the nasal cavity is) than on the bottom of the feet but you could also do the feet.  The oils are best used with something acute like this less more often.  For example taking 10 drops once a day is a waste of your money.  Take 1 drop every 15-20 minutes till you get on top of something and then you can gap it.  So, lots of people say I tried that once and it helped but it didn't make them go away.  Well, do it every 15 or 20 minutes 4 or 5 times then gap it and you will see a huge difference.  Your son probably isn't getting relief with a one time dose.  If breathe and lime don't work well, try rosemary, cardamom, eucalyptus, mix and match, but one of those is  bound to open him up.  Front and back chest remember.  By the way, basil is one of the oils that is listed to help with the lung damage so if it were me, I would be doing basil on topically over the chest at least at night when they are going to sleep and if it were me, I would use it long term.  That is just me.  The dry cough is probably allergy related and if you do this you will probably and hopefully notice a big difference.  Also, I would address the allergy and breathing first, and address the eczema later.  Might be too much all at one time for 4 years old.  Eczema is just an external manifestation of an internal issue is true, but I would get on top of the other first probably.  :My son hasn't had a breathing treatment, oxygen, or inhaler in almost 4 1/2 years since using doterra.  Several of my friends have gotten off of their inhalers using the oils.  I AM NOT TELLING ANYONE TO GET OFF OF THEIR INHALERS!  Just saying what has happened for them.  It sounds like you have not really addressed the allergies with the oils you have been using.  That is what I would do and suggest if it were me.  Just a suggestion

Hi All,
My son is 4 years old and has been treated for asthma, allergies and eczema since he was a baby.  He has had pneumonia 5 times and is currently on singulair, zyrtec, flovent inhaler and albuterol inhaler which is not helping!  He has a dry cough that causes him to gag every morning and night and intermittently throughout the day.  So far, he has been on the children's a2z chewable and IQ omega from do terra and I do frankincense and breathe on his spine daily for the last month but he is still wheezing and has this cough which is driving me crazy.  I also have been putting eucalyptus on his feet.  Any new suggestions or ideas?  He is a very VERY energetic kid as well.  He rubs his eyes all day which I put lavender around if I see him doing it.  What am I missing?
