Helichrism is my go to oil for bleeding. If I had a situation like that I believe I would run it over the kidney and then apply a wet compress to drive it in quicker if needed.
I am not firmiluar with what he has. I love Lemon or Rosmary over my kidneys for pain. I drink water with a drop of OnGuard in it at the first sign of a kidney infection. There is a Dental surgeon who uses OnGuard and said it speeds his heal time and reduces bleeding. I use it to help the body fight infection but I might try it in your husband situation for kidney bleeding as well.
