We put one drop of DDR Prime on his back everyday and rub it in for several seconds. We aim for first thing in the morning, but sometimes we forget! We've been using it on him for almost a month, and really can see a difference in him. Sometimes it's silly little things, like he's finally figured out how to use a straw. Makes eating out so much easier!
As long as he has his daily drop, he's not so likely to just throw himself sobbing to the floor for any injustice - real or perceived. (I tell his brother to stop doing something, he takes it personally and throws himself down into a heap.) He's actually becoming more aware of his surroundings and boundaries. We've noticed he's responding to words more, his name, asking if he wants food, and when we're telling him no. I've also seen him connect pieces better, like he sees us getting ready to leave the house, he grabs his shoes and runs to the couch so I can put them on. Before, I'd wiggle his shoes near his face, call his name, tell him what we're doing... he'd just keep on playing in his own world.
And that's the thing we're enjoying the most, seeing him join the real world more. He has truly lived in his own world for a long time, being oblivious to his surroundings. For a while we thought he was deaf! He wasn't responding to any kinds of sounds. Not to door slamming, his brother yelling, laughter or such. But his hearing is pretty acute, we've seen him run across the house when he heard the Curious George theme song start. My husband has whispered his name to his back across the room and he whips his head around.
DDR Prime is definitely working for him, and someday we hope to fully unlock our little boy. :)
Blessings,
Leah

Aaawww, what a nice story, Leah. How many drops do you use, how often, and where do you put it on him? Thank you for sharing a new way to use it. Good luck with your sweet, little boy.
