[Everything doTERRA] Re: Sinus

Good suggestions below.  I used Digestzen in a pinch and it worked (also used for muscle spasms when in a pinch).  Peppermint works best for me.  My sinuses can be quite bad to the point of horrible headaches that turn into migraines.  I can relate to what you are saying.  Peppermint does work best and the acupuncture points noted below makes sense.  I am going to include that in what I currently do, which is:

--simply put a drop of peppermint on each temple and massage;
--massage a drop or two over my brow area and move up to outer sides of my forehead;
--rub a drop or two on the back of my neck and up to the base of my hairline;
--I also put a drop of peppermint and lemon in my hand, cup and inhale (until it kind of stings the inside of my sinuses, gets the blood flowing);

You can desensitize yourself with peppermint and/or get "addicted" to its sensation and/or relief, and, of course, the vapor can make the eyes water.  So, I monitor how it is working for me and allow it to do its thing, so to speak.  Consistency is key.  Also, I believe the eyes of the toes are sinus pressure points for the feet.  Since I have been doing the above, my sinuses have been far less painful and problematic.  In fact, I haven't had a headache for a few days (that is unusual).  With the advice of the acupuncture point, I may use less oil and may be more efficient.

I hope you find what works for you!

I get really bad sinuses on a daily basis.  My face feels like it has been shoved into a pillow, my teeth begin to hurt and I get tired from my her ache.  I have tried lavender, breath, deep blue, past tense, and frankincense.  Any other suggestions!!??  I can breath fine but obviously it's a deeper issue.
