[Everything doTERRA] Re: Pinguecula

Hi Shayla!
I, too, have Pinguecula. I'm new to EO's and do not have an answer for you, but look forward to reading the suggestions.

After answering a series of question from one eye specialist he felt it was caused from me laying in a tanning bed with no goggles when I was on my early 20's. (I'm now 49)  And, yes, I did lay in tanning beds with no goggles.

This issue appeared about 18 years ago for me. And I hate it!! I even looked into surgery to remove but they said it would come back.

I can tell you I have Crohns Disease and I know when it's going to flare because the pinguelua swell and it feels like my eye lids are going to rip off. My "bumps" as you call them get an orange/reddish center when inflammation is happening in my body.

Thanks for sharing and asking.

Blessings~
Bo

I've recently noticed small, light-yellow colored bumps forming on my eye, also known as pinguecula. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to decrease the agitation and make them go away. (I'm not in the sun much and don't really know why I'm having these symptoms all of the sudden..)

Thanks,
Shayla
