[Everything doTERRA] Re: Hair loss due to thyroid med

I have recently used two different oils to stimulate the scalp and thicken the hair. I applied peppermint oil (a couple of drops) directly to my scalp and let it go to work while I finish my shower then apply the shampoo. It's exhilerating.  I have also used Ylang Ylang the same way. The results are wonderful - fuller thicker hair. Sounds as though the peppermint is a good start. Hope you find the results you are after.

My dr said my thyroid levels were right on the edge of being hypo but did not think it was bad enough to treat.  After discussing it, since my mother and both sisters as well as extend family members have thyroid issues, we decided to try a low dose for to months.  It did not really make any difference to how I felt, but it did cause hair loss.  I've stopped taking the med and the hair loss has stopped; however I now have two bald spots on either side of my head.  ( I'm female, by the way). Any ideas for stimulating regrowth?
